Every SIP this fund has ever allowed: rolling returns

We started a 3-year SIP in every month the Direct plan's history allows — 2 separate SIPs. The worst returned -12.1% a year (started Oct 2023), the median -8.7%, the best -5.3%; 100% of them lost money. That spread is the honest answer to “what return should I expect?” — not a single trailing number.

Daily NAVs published by AMFI (Association of Mutual Funds in India). We take the first NAV of each month as the SIP date and value units at the latest NAV. Updated monthly.

How these numbers are calculated

NAVs are AMFI's official daily NAVs (Growth option). Instalments fall on the first business day of each month; stamp duty (0.005%) and exit loads are ignored. Returns are XIRR on actual dates. Tax: 12.5% LTCG above ₹1.25 lakh on units held over a year, 20% STCG on the rest, and Section 112A grandfathering at the 31-Jan-2018 NAV for older units. Full method: methodology.
