XIRR of every 3-year monthly SIP, by the month it started. Gap = fund XIRR minus index fund XIRR, in percentage points a year.

| 3-year SIPs | 49 | 86% | +7.7 pp | -2.8 ppstarted Feb 2023 | +19.1 ppstarted Oct 2019 |

The index fund's NAV already includes its own expense ratio and tracking error, so this is what you would actually have earned. The comparison uses the Nifty 500 index fund we match to this category, which may differ from the fund's official benchmark, and it can only cover months where both funds have NAVs (Oct 2019 to Oct 2026). Only funds that still exist are compared; merged or closed funds, often the weaker ones, drop out of AMFI's list, which flatters active funds as a group (how this comparison works).
Every SIP this fund has ever allowed: rolling returns

The worst returned -10.4% a year (started Nov 2008), the median 17.5%, the best 39.0%; 6% of them lost money.
