Goal plan
Build a retirement corpus with a SIP — then see how long it lasts with the SWP planner.
Retirement is the longest-horizon goal, which is exactly why SIPs suit it: decades of compounding turn modest monthly amounts into large corpuses. The solver below targets a ₹3 crore corpus over 25 years as a starting point — adjust to your own number.
A retirement plan has two halves. The accumulation phase (this solver) builds the corpus. The decumulation phase — drawing an income from it — is modelled separately in the SWP calculator, where you can see how long a corpus lasts under inflation-rising withdrawals.
Because the horizon is long, inflation compounds dramatically. Always look at the real-value figure, not the nominal: a ₹3 crore nominal corpus in 25 years at 6% inflation is worth far less in today's purchasing power, and that's the number that tells you whether you can actually retire on it.
